The Cheerwine Professional Cycling Team is a North Carolina based cycling team that competes in National and International bicycle races. The team is considered the premiere women’s professional cycling team in the United States. Anne Bolyea, founder and team owner, started the team in 2002 with what would be considered a regional program and has now nurtured it into an international program including National Champions and Olympic team members. The team competes in nearly 60 major metropolitan areas around the country each year. In most cases these events have spectator attendance ranging from 5,000 to 35,000 and a large percentage of the time the events are covered by local, national and international media including television. The Cheerwine Professional Cycling Team will head into the 2008 racing season with a squad of well known and respected athletes , management and staff with the objectives of competing at the highest level. In doing this we also strive to represent our sponsors and supporters in ways that give them return on their investments and pride in being part of Cheerwine’s winning team. 2007 OVERVIEW USA Cycling National Racing Calendar Individual Standing 1st Place USA Cycling National Racing Calendar Team Standing 2nd Place USA CRITS National Race Calendar Individual Standing 1st Place USA CRITS National Race Calendar Team Standing 1st Place First Places in NRC Events or Stages within NRC Events 22 Second Places in NRC Events or Stages within NRC Events 20 Third Places in NRC Events or Stages within NRC Events 14 Wins In Major U.S. Events non NRC 8
