Samplonius Wins In Europe |

by pedalmag.com April 20, 2008 (Apeldoorn, Netherlands) - Anne Samplonius of the Canadian National Team/Cheerwine Cycling won the 135.9km Ronde van Gelderland against Germany's Eva Lutz (Equipe Nürnberger Versicherung) on Saturday in a sprint finish. Andrea Bosman (Ned) Team DSB Bank finished 3rd. Alex Wrubleski (Can) Webcor Builders Cycling Team finished in 29th and Felicia Gomez (Can) National Team Canada placed 45th.

Redlands Race Report: Right on Schedule From: Robin Farina Another year of Redlands has come and gone. This year was exceptionally special for our team. Our team won the Team GC. Yep, Cheerwine Women's Professional Cycling Team did it. We took top honors. A lot of hard work was put in by all the riders and staff. Leigh Hobson and Ann Samplonious did a great job of riding consistently as our GC riders. Leigh took 3rd in the new Beaumont stage on Friday and took 2nd in the Sunset loop on the final day to secure her 4th place overall. |
